Gwent is just one of the many side activities available in Witcher 3 that has proven popular among players still seeing everything that the mammoth game has to offer. Another thing to keep in mind is that the Gwent mod does require at least two players to function, as there is no AI to play against, unlike in The Witcher 3. The mod is an almost exact replication of Gwent as it appears in Witcher 3, but with some minor tweaks in order to better balance the multiplayer experience. Simply purchase Tabletop Simulator (which is, at the time of this writing, available at a discount thanks to the Steam Summer Sale), and then download the free mod. Mr.RiZZaH, a Steam Workshop user, has created a Gwent mod for the game Tabletop Simulator. For those that are not yet convinced to take the plunge on the game, however, there is now a new way to experience Gwent, though it will require the purchase of a game completely unrelated to The Witcher series. One of the reasons why so many have found The Witcher 3 hard to put down is its incredibly addicting card game, known as Gwent.įor those out there that want to see what all the fuss is about with Gwent, the best course of action is to purchase the critically acclaimed Witcher 3. One of the most popular pieces of side content in the game doesn't come in the form of any typical quest line like in most RPGs, however. It offers an expansive, gorgeous open world to explore, an engrossing storyline, and is absolutely stuffed with side content. Gamers have taken to the absurdly massive Witcher 3 for a number of reasons. The game managed to sell over 4 million copies in just its first two weeks on sale, allowing it to become the top selling game of May 2015. CD Projekt Red is currently experiencing unprecedented success thanks to the release of their almost universally adored RPG, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
